Our team has just returned from the 30th Annual NileTESOL Conference, held at the American University in Cairo, and it was an inspiring and valuable few days connecting with the global teaching community.
The conference brought together educators, researchers and sector partners from across the world to explore this year’s theme, “Resilience in ELT: Adapting and Thriving in a Changing World.” From thought-provoking sessions to insightful conversations, it was a fantastic opportunity to share ideas, learn from peers and strengthen international partnerships.
Stuart Skinner, International Development Director at VTCT Skills said:
“NileTESOL provided a brilliant platform to engage with educators who are passionate about the future of English language teaching. The conversations we’ve had and the connections we’ve made will play an important role in shaping how we continue to support learners and centres internationally.”
“We were also proud to officially launch our new VELA product at the event. It was great to see the level of interest from attendees, many of whom took advantage of the free VELA trial to explore how the tool can support English language assessment and progression.”
A huge thank you to the NileTESOL organisers and everyone who took the time to speak with our team. We’re looking forward to building on these conversations and continuing to work together to support high-quality English language teaching worldwide.
