VTCT Skills is a leading vocational and technical awarding organisation, recognised for delivering high-quality qualifications and assessments across 17 diverse sectors from Hospitality and Hairdressing to Logistics and Early Years. As part of our commitment to accessibility and learner success, we are enhancing our ESOL qualifications with high-quality teaching and learning resources and we are inviting skilled professionals to contribute to this important initiative.

We are seeking passionate ESOL specialists to support the development of engaging, inclusive, and effective resources that help learners with English as an additional language succeed in their vocational qualifications. This is a contracted, flexible role, ideal for individuals who want to apply their expertise alongside their current job.

Specialisms we are looking for:

• ESOL Resource Developers

Principal responsibilities:  

• Collaborate with a team to design ESOL support content for existing qualifications.
• Develop accessible and inclusive teaching and learning resources.
• Participate in training to support your role.
• Work to agreed timelines and deliver high-quality content.

Essential Criteria:

• Excellent English language and written communication skills.
• A relevant qualification in ESOL or a related field.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• No conflicts of interest related to this role.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in ESOL qualification or resource development.
• Background in vocational education or training.
