Quality Assurance and Centre Admin – External Quality Assurers – (ESOL)

As part of our strategic vision, we are strengthening our footprint in ESOL International provision, expanding our global presence and enhancing the support we offer to centres. We are seeking experienced ESOL professionals to contribute by supporting and monitoring centres compliance to ensure a consistent and valid.

This is an excellent opportunity, ideal for professionals with a strong background in ESOL International centre compliance, and quality assurance. Your expertise will help ensure that learners receive fair, reliable outcomes and that centres uphold the integrity of ESOL International qualifications.

Specialisms we are looking for:
  • ESOL International
Principal responsibilities:  
  • Centre Compliance.
  • Organise and carry out remote and/or in-person visits to centres delivering ESOL International qualifications (CEFR A1–C2).
  • Verify certification decisions through rigorous sampling of learner assessments and evidence.
  • Identify, monitor, and report risks to support compliance and continuous improvement.
Essential Criteria:
  • Excellent English language and written communication skills.
  • A relevant qualification in language, such as: TEFL/CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), DELTA (Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults), TESOL or DipTESOL, PGCE with ESOL specialism, A degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Background in education or training.
  • Experience as both an Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA), with a strong focus on language qualifications and learner progression through CEFR levels.
