Angharad Beynon joins VTCT Skills as Head of Policy and Sales – Wales

VTCT Skills are delighted to announce Angharad Beynon has joined to lead our Welsh Team

Angharad Beynon is a dynamic and results-oriented leader with over two decades of cross-sector experience spanning business development, education and training, stakeholder engagement, and policy influence. Joining VTCT Skills as Head of Policy and Sales – Wales, Angharad will be applying her strong track record of driving strategic growth, managing national client accounts, and leading policy-aligned transformation across both the public and private sectors.

A fluent Welsh speaker and a skilled communicator, Angharad is known for her ability to build meaningful partnerships and influence education and skills policy across the devolved nations. Her expertise includes strategic sales leadership, contract and account management, and regional strategy development to support qualification uptake, funding access, and workforce development.

Angharad has held senior roles, where she led stakeholder engagement and strategic partnerships across Wales, Northern Ireland, Ireland, and Scotland. She has represented national interests in high-level policy forums and sector networks, ensuring alignment with devolved government priorities and delivering bilingual stakeholder support.

Beyond her professional achievements, Angharad is deeply committed to community and sector development. She holds multiple leadership and advisory roles, including:

  • Co-Chair, Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) –Scotland
  • Board Member, Coleg Sir Gâr and Coleg Ceredigion
  • Chairperson, Amelia Earhart Community Group
  • Liveryman, Worshipful Livery Company of Wales
  • Volunteer, Hospital Radio BGM
  • Member, MentUPLeadUP Forum (Northern Ireland)

Outside of work, Angharad is passionate about running and cycling, having participated in the London Marathon, various half-marathons, and 10km races. She enjoys travel, cultural engagement, and spending quality time with family and friends.
