In September 2022, we hosted an engaging and factual webinar about the benefits of the Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Treatments certificate. We were delighted to hear from Professor David Sines CBE (JCCP Chair), Sally Taber (JCCP Trustee), Dr Tapan (PHI Clinic, 10 Years Younger), alongside representatives from Harley Academy and VTCT. They discussed the challenges within the industry, the requirements and impact of this qualification and how it will safeguard practitioners for the future. We also had a dedicated time for questions to the panel.
The VTCT (ITEC) Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Treatments is designed for qualified personnel who are registered with a national professional health care statutory regulatory body in the country within which the qualification is being delivered.
This qualification will focus on the required practical and theoretical knowledge to enable the learner consistently to administer safe, effective and appropriate injectable, clinical aesthetic treatments.
This qualification is the first in the VTCT (ITEC) Aesthetic Clinical Suite of qualifications and is designed to support a role in the workplace. This qualification will assist in updating current skills and continuing professional development (CPD).
To ensure your centre meets VTCT approval criteria, VTCT will undertake a centre approval activity, which will be carried out by a VTCT External Quality Assurer (EQA).
As part of the process, you will need to demonstrate you understand the centre approval criteria and centre agreement.

• Approval Visit Criteria: This document outlines the types of evidence that an EQA will be expecting to review as part of the centre approval review.
