The event provided an opportunity for centres to receive the latest updates from VTCT Skills, with discussions focused on qualification development, assessment updates and a range of continuing professional development (CPD) sessions designed to support delivery across Wales.
The event was further enhanced by valuable contributions from industry partners. Denman Brush delivered an engaging Hair CPD session, with thanks to Maria Stafford and Martyn Wady for sharing their expertise. In addition, Eve Taylor London, alongside Chris Taylor and Jema, provided an informative CPD session for Hair, Beauty and Aesthetics (HLB), which received excellent feedback from delegates.
Nickie Evans of VTCT Skills said:
“Our Nations Day events are an important opportunity to connect directly with our centres, share updates and listen to feedback from those delivering our qualifications every day. It was fantastic to see so many Welsh colleges represented and fully engaged in discussions around qualification development and CPD. The collaboration and commitment in the room truly reflect the strength of vocational education across Wales.”
The day highlighted the strength of collaboration across Welsh centres and reinforced a shared commitment to maintaining high standards across vocational education. VTCT Skills looks forward to welcoming centres again at future events.
